I'll be drinking beer and watching the fish today...

ForceTen

I will watch football, drink a few beers and do a water change as well.

I'll be doing the same as well as a couple WC's one on my 8.8 and one on my 10. Don't forget to watch some football too

jinjerJOSH22

Moved some fish around and crossed my fingers because it could go wrong for both tanks.

aquafrogg

The day before yesterday I redesigned my tank (new substrate, new filter, rearranged everything). Today I’m just doing final touches and admiring my aquatic pets

Gabbie

I am doing water changes, hoping for some insight on my low pH thread, and continuing my search for a good deal on a 100-125g tank

bumblinBee

Trying to find out how in the world I'm going to remove the string algae from my moss lol

20191222_140315.jpgMoved some plants around. Vals were running to the front. Moved them to the back and filled the gap in the middle. Moved some crypts from by the filter up to the empty front corner.

Nothing today. It's just observing the fish and cleaning house. Tomorrow is maintenance day but here's pics

maybe a new toothbrush and a pair of scissors with a cup or bowl of water to pull the string algae and trim the still good moss back into the bowl to retie it to your hardscape?

Looks great! what do you have in there some black skirts and zebras? is that a 20 tall?

ghostdawg

Thank you. Correct at BST & ZD. This is a 10 gal Top Fin tank. I'm working on something bigger!

ayeayeron

I’m dividing my 20 gallon so I can house both of my bettas in there and move my cory fry to the 10g

Thunder_o_b

Redoing the aquascape in the 150 tall and the 44 pent. Taking out of service a 46 gallon bow front and a 29 gallon.

So in the basement there will be a 46, 37, 30 and a 29 gallon. I just am no longer able to keep up with the maintenance.

I tend to under stock the aquariums, so to movie the inhabitants to a new home is no problem....But the plants are proving a challenge.

I redecorated my 20 long:

And I finally got to decorate my two new 10 gals:

(The dirt is still a tad stirred up in the second one, it’ll settle out)

On a more sour note though, I will be watching one tank particularly close because one of my female bettas that had been getting better has taken a turn for the worse

Life has been chewing up copious amounts of my time. Job, household and then there are my classes three times a week.

jinjerJOSH22

So far so good
I’ve switched my Pearls with my 6 Three Spots and added my adult male Three Spot to my 60 while the 2 male Pearls and female are now in the 33. Here’s hoping it stays this peaceful.

25% wc with a bit of mulm removal. Had no beer. Don't drink alcohol anyways. Ice tea instead. Reminds me of the color of the aquarium water.

Your knowledge of the hobby had me thinking otherwise. My hats off to you for all that you bring to this site as well as everyone else both young and older

Me too. I’m at the bright age of 13, I can’t even drive let alone drink

aquafrogg

I also had to do a bit of a minI photoshoot today because why not I’m liking the new design, hopefully once the plants fill in it will really look like what I’m going for

Wait what?! I definitely thought you were older lol

I, however, will be able to drink legally in less than a month and can then join the “drinking beer and watching the fish” club

Nah. I'm pretty young.

For what it is worth to the younger crowd ;
Fish are for more intoxicating then alcohol for me ..
Also a far better investment if you are on limited funds ..
My fish pay me back with pleasure that last and some 'pocket change' as it goes ..
I am told you only get to 'rent' booze ...

MissPanda

I just added some new small carpeting plants yesterday. They are grasses and some other unknown one. They're very small and barely have any roots. My gbr likes ripping at my plants so I will go back and re-plant any ones he's ripped up. Little turd! Then I just pray they root before he picks at them again.

I scattered rounded sedimentary rocks along the hardscape in an attempt to provide additional cover & concealment for two baby Labeotropheus Trewavasae. There are plenty of predators trying to eat them. Pictured is one of the rockpiles with a predator male Fusco hunting. The second pic is one of the baby Trewavasae hiding in a hole, while the female Fusco waits for her chance. Maybe a lost cause.
