Hey! Quick question. I want some advice on how to split certain fish between two tanks. One is about 20 gallons exactly, the other is a 20+ gallon bowfront- maybe 25? unsure. I want to distribute the following fish between the two tanks:
- 1 dwarf gourami
- 1 pleco ( about 6 inches) (yes, I know, i rescued him from someone else who had him in a 10, he will be moved into bigger tanks as he grows, and I would never myself buy a pleco)
- 12 black skirt tetras (considering one large school of 12 of two smaller schools of 6. which is better?)
- 3 guppies (fry atm)
- 4 platies or mollies (fry atm so I can't tell)
- 5 neon tetras)
- 1 chill female betta (must not be with the gourami)

The only requirement is that the pleco must be in the 20 gallon rectangular tank. He is already there and I do not want to move him. It has a bigger footprint anyway.

Thank you for your thoughts!

Ok 20g regular
Betta
Neon tetras
Platy/molly fry
(pleco since you aren't moving him)

Bow front
Gourami
Skirt tetras
Guppy fry (although as adults they shouldn't be kept with the betta or gourami)
