Love ya Dutch. Lol. You got integrity my friend, very rare these days. You can admit when your wrong. Maybe honest is a better word. Most people I know are a bit too arrogant. I wish I could see colors better. So hard to ID a fish when you can't see certain colors.
A very nice thing to say Dave. Highly appreciated !

Still missing the "laser" over their back hahaha. But that could be caused by the pics. I have seen CW010 in the UK that had "ledlights" on their back hahaha

I am certain they are cw010.
20190930_180608.jpg

It's hard to capture a photo of them clearly unless they are sitting on the bottom where the light doesn't hit them as much and their colors don't pop like they do when they swim up towards the top of the tank. But if you're just looking for color here it is.

My smallest emerald hanging out in the shade. My tank gets about 2 hours of spotty sunlight in the late morning, and the cories looked beautiful in the sunlight. I couldn't get a good pic because they were so active.

I have seven leopard corys in my tank and you never see them together - it’s four foot long so they are spread out doing their thing happy as can be. I’ve bought a new brand of algae wafers and woah! I guess they like them because they’re all there eating away - along with Snail Boy! Family reunion in right corner

Ha ha! Victory is mine! I beat the other cory guy to the LFS for unknown cories coming out of quarantine. I now have all the C? that they had!
LFS guy asked his cory guy what they were and his cory guy had no idea. His cory guy's street cred is that he has several cories named after him.

Cory320.jpg
In the middle between long face and short face. High fin, mask, spots, orange saddle, this one is not the best colored of the group. Super aggressive jumpers (I have not seen a cory like this. the netting was hilarious due to the jumping nature.). Wife is off buying a canister in case they love flow.
So I have bought ~12 somethings! This means off to start a "name that cory" thread.

I traded in some fish today and got a nice amount of store credit. Then I used some of that credit and got a group of 6 orange lasers. Three are huge, and three are still young looking. Hoping for a nice breeding ratio.

A top down pic would help sex them easier. Females will be wider bodied than the males.

Please use this topic to post your Corydoras photos. I'll leave it stickied so it appears at the top of the posts. Let's see the various corydoras species everyone's keeping.

Thanks,
Mike

I've had some Cw010 corys for a while now and finally decided to replace them because they're reeeeeeally boring compared to my others. Well now I have to figure out how to get rid of them because I got 8 corydoras eques to replace them with! I got super lucky with these and it'll probably never happen again. The picture is from acclimation and the other half were in another container. They're all juvies, but surprisingly colored up great within a couple hours. They're already so much more interesting and entertaining than the cw010.

Getting rid of any corys isn't in my vocabulary. I love Eques but CW010 just as much. Pic taken at Pier Aquatics sone years back.

Trust me, I wish I didn't have to. But with my limited space and time I'd rather have something I enjoy more.

Here’s three of my albino cories (one is currently hanging out in one of the caves.) After months of battling Columnaris and parasites and unfortunately losing some other cories along the way, these four are doing well and I love them to bits.

Couple of pics from the ‘odd ones out’ tank, meaning this tank has small groups of twos & threes that don’t fit in any other tank.
C.pandas that refuse to stop eating their eggs, grr!
& Aspidoras sp. gold

Not corys I know but we don’t have an aspidoras board ;)
‘Mr‘ aspidoras on the left, ‘Mrs’ on the right you can see how much size difference there is.
Apologies for blurry pic but they scoot off so fast when they see me coming with a camera!
