Terrible pics but I just picked up 8 Bronze corys or as my store calls them “green corys”. Lack of light in my QT but love these little guys! They have already settled in and are cruising all around the tank. Love seeing them explore and can’t wait to get them in the 29 gal

Here's my C. Leucomelas that was sold to me as a "spotted cory" at a Petco. I was buying some false juliI when I spotted him by his lonesome so I bought him home.

Just moved my 8 bronze from QT to the main tank and I think they are loving it. These two stopped digging for me to snap some pics, I feel like they’re thinking “oh look it’s the lady who feeds us!” They’re so cute digging in the sand I don’t think I will be getting much done today as I am going to be watching them!

Finally got a picture of one of the Bronze cories in my 55. Hopefully these two will have more friends this weekend. I have 6 more in quarantine

Corydoras Pygmeaus shoaling (I would go so far as to call it schooling aka swimming in sync) with Corydoras aeneus (albino and bronze) upon introduction to the tank. I’ll be interested to see if the behavior continues or is just part of the groups defense behavior as they acclimate. Sorry it’s so blurry (they are quick little buggers. If the behavior continues I will get better pics and maybe start a thread because from all I’ve researched corydoras are extremely picky about species. I understand my albinos and bronze will shoal because they are the same species but this just seems odd/the coolest thing I’ve ever accidentally done.

My panda corys are finally in the parent community tank! I'm a little bummed out because with it being a very small spawn (11 eggs I just so happened to notice on the glass) and it being the first spawn of egg laying fish I've ever raised, I only had 3 survivors. Technically 5, but one was super tiny (like grain of rice size and not growing) and another was super small and couldn't swim right. So I culled those two. Anyway, pictures! They went in the community tank at exactly 9 weeks old.

Just got a picture of a couple of them hanging out with some adults.

Been a while since I posted here. I've been busy breeding C Sterbai.

This group of 25 went to DioAquatics

Moving these guys out of the breeding box to a 5.5g (the tank above).

Another batch.

I read somewhere that if you take the eggs, there's better hatch rates when you stick them to the wall of the container. I understand now after a few spawns that it's because the fry can get stuck with the shell on its head and can't get it off. I used a dropper to quickly suck and squirt them out to help get the shell off.

I've been getting about 100 eggs every 2 weeks when the breeding group is conditioned with frozen foods. I also get better hatch rates and survival rates when the group is fed well.

Some of my babies Here's Whiskey, the one-whisker trilineatus. I bought him like this, I felt sorry for him. I don't think he'll ever have any growth because I can't even see a stub, but he's been going good 3 months now!

I do not know for sure if these cories are accurately labeled by the LFS, but they sure were adorable, sitting in a row as I walked by the tank. I almost took them all home.

The LFS said the supers would be done with quarantine today. So I will bring him my "Highlander" FowlerI and get a herd. I do not want the FowlerI killing any of them, supers are big but pointy face cories can be hateful. The FowlerI can go pick a fight with his remaining barbatus.

I have waited more than a year for him to get more in. I'm too old to be this excited about fish.

Several corydoras aeneus allowed me to take a good picture - others seem to be too shy Had them for over a month now, and they are all doing well!

Awesome. What C or CW-number are these ?
The Glaser says CW 28.

In a sad note the last barbatus at the LFS is now dead.

This pic may look weird but the power supply on my Beamworks gave up the ghost after 11 months had to used a flashlight to take the pic. I took a pic of one of the other 4 but my finger covered more than half the lens.
They are not Bronchis but they are still beasts.

Here is a trippy picture of three of my SterbaI Corys.

When I look into their eyes, I can see beyond the thin veil of our lives and all our trivial concerns into the greater truth beyond.

Love ya Dutch. Lol. You got integrity my friend, very rare these days. You can admit when your wrong. Maybe honest is a better word. Most people I know are a bit too arrogant. I wish I could see colors better. So hard to ID a fish when you can't see certain colors.
A very nice thing to say Dave. Highly appreciated !

Still missing the "laser" over their back hahaha. But that could be caused by the pics. I have seen CW010 in the UK that had "ledlights" on their back hahaha
