Who's into sports?

Spent some of the game working putside the visitors locker room. Not everyday you get to meet the coaching staffs and players for 2 B1G basketball teams.

 

Woohoo!! Nebraska Women's Basketball eliminated Michigan!! On to the B1G Semi-finals!!

 

MLB, after years of having to rebuild after their last labor stoppage, has taken dead aim at their toe and squarely hit the mark.

Rob Manfred has been the worst possible commissioner. I thought Bud Selig was bad, but he looks like Judge Landis by comparison.

Russel Wilson is a Bronco now. Whole lotta draft capital coming back to Seattle for that one. Bobby Wagner was released as well, so there is a whole pile of salary cap space available, too. I have said that those things needed to happen, and now that they have, it is still odd to think about.

I don't think they draft another Quarterback. I think they draft a lot of offensive linemen (this draft is loaded at that position) and give Jacob Eason every opportunity to show off his million dollar arm and prove he does not have a ten cent head. The guy can toss it 70 yards flat footed, and given DK Metcalf and Tyler Locket's ability to get down field, I am hoping to see something akin to the St. Louis "Greatest Show on Turf" era offense.

 

We will see how they fare at QB. Replacing Russel may take extra patience.
IMHO replacing Bobby Wagner may be a tougher task. Such a smart and tough defensive guy. Performing at his level and staying healthy is not an easy task.

This could be a big year for the Jays! I don't mind the Yankees now that Jeter is gone, it's Boston that I just can't stand. The Red Sox (AND BRUINS!) are hard to even watch.

The only baseball games I refuse to attend are Yankees @Mariners because Yankees fans fill the stadium and are generally obnoxious, and Blue Jays @Mariners because Toronto fans fill the stadium and are ridiculously polite.

Leaf fan here, riding the rollercoaster in our series vs the Bolts. Awesome win last night! Keeping my hopes in check a bit though still, it's been a long time since we haven't found a way to lose in the first round somehow.

Not a huge fan, but I like Hockey. It's just hard to get into right now because the Blackhawks are such a hot mess.

REEEEDDDD BUUUUUDDDDD! Michigan ProMotocross National. Didnt go today because they are having the MXoN there in the fall. That is pretty much the biggest dirt bike race of the year. Its the Olympics of dirt bike riding. All of the countries send a team to compete. Its pretty cool to say the least.
