I'm cautiously optimistic about Seahawks this season. Geno looks good , defence staying solid. Did not expect status to be this good at this point.

They were looking a lot better before Metcalf got carted off!

Amazing game by Seahawks today. Defense was awesome against the 6 n 1 Giants.

Listening to some local sports podcasts at work. They hit a little different when you know the people doing them.

 

Was watching the Flyers/Maple Leafs game earlier, because HOCKEY!! Nice little brawl right near the end of the game.

 

Giordano stepping in to protect Matthews was good to see. Leafs finally showed some energy and effort. It was an encouraging performance. Easily their best game this season.

 

Husker game was a stinker. Bonus though,got to chat for a few minutes with former Detroit Lions offensive lineman Brenden Stai!

 

Hmmmm Lions and the Jets won…….what kind of pre-apocalyptic stuff is that? Searching the weather for a meteor shower.

Kicked off me working basketball games this season, yesterday. Not often i go to a women's college game and see 100 on the scoreboard!

 

Worked basketball last night, again tonight. Last night i kicked the game off by conversing with local basketball legend and former NBA player Erick Strickland!

Following the World Cup (obvs supporting England) but due to the Leeds United and American tie have a soft spot for the USA, they gave us a good run for our money last match!

 

Wow just saw Baker Mayfield play the game of his life for a team he’s been with for 48hrs. 2 min drill from the 3yd line. 98yds for the wining touchdown.

(as an anecdote, Brady won his first Super Bowl during my freshman year at a Boston-area high school. I distinctly remember the whole 'should I/shouldn't I' question re going to the victory parade and missing freshman team basketball practice. Flash-forward 19 years and I was holding my 3 month-old son like an offering to the TV so that he could say later in life that he watched Brady finish off the Rams in that Super Bowl. Flash forward another 3 years and it looks like my son will actually have memories of Brady. Amazing!)

Yeah, i woke up seen the raiders were stil up with about 3 mins left, dozed off then seen the rams had a 1 point lead!! In the immortal words of my dad thougj, who was a MEGA Raiders fan..."Refs HATE us!!!"

 

Lol got to say it wasn’t the refs it was the Raiders. Some really stupid penalties!
