What's your music of choice today?

Doesn't matter whether you're a Spotify, Apple Music or PleX user - what is your choice in music today?

Optional bonus: What are you doing that made you choose that music?

I'll kick it off: Today I'm old-schooling it with some Nickelback while I do my job (Software Engineer)

It's a really nice song, for sure. I can imagine listening to it to relax me before getting some shut eye.

Water changes are made so much more enjoyable when you have some good music in your ears while you do it.

My taste in music is incredibly varied with the bulk of the music and artists I regularly listen to being around before I was even born. Current go to album is The Comeback Special (Live at the Royal Albert Hall) by The The. In danger of overplaying it!

Music makes almost everything better/easier. I literally listen to work all day at work which probably equates to ~8 hours every day.

Varied is good! I have everything from Elvis/The Beatles to Taylor Swift to Breaking Benjamin to Plan B.

PleX tells me I have 12 days worth of music.

The only modern bands I like are 21 pilots and the Decemberists. All the others I like are from my parent's and grandparents' generations, I swear I was born in the wrong century. Some of my favorites are: Carry on my wayward son -Styx, Ticket to Ride- The Beatles, I Italian restaurant, Vienna, stranger, moving out, you know pretty much all of the stranger album, and finally Revolution. I could go on.

Tears for fears is awesome.

I’m rocking some Chris Stapleton and Luke Combs today, but my tastes are all over the map...just depends on the day, the mood and the vibe I’m looking for

21 Pilots are really good lyricists. If you like the Decemberists you might like their side project, Black Prairie. It's basically four Decemberists + Annalisa Tornfelt and another guitar who's name I can't recall.

Ok before this goes any further I have to remind members that if posting videos the lyrics/title/ imagery must not contain bad language, drug references etc.
The last music thread despite several reminders had to be shut down because of this, I’ve already removed one video here, please don’t let the same happen to this one.

Today it's Christian music, coming up with a song to sing in church soon. I think I landed on this one:

Otherwise I listen to a lot of country and oldies, because I AM an oldie!

That must have been why meatloaf was on the radio on every station today... :( I knew his health was declining for years so it was just a matter of time. But it still makes me so sad. I loved his rock operas when I was in high school.

There's a station called K-Love I've tuned into 3 times this week, and twice I heard this song. I just need to find it in a higher key but that's very doable!
