I listen to Pandora all day, set to Shuffle my stations. Norah Jones is singing right now, but I never know what's next. It could be Stevie Ray Vaughan, or John Prine, or Etta James, or Asleep at the Wheel, or Albert Collins, or Bonnie Bishop, or Lynyrd Skynyrd (The Ballad of Curtis Loew is one of my all-time favorite songs), or Hank Williams Sr., or . . .

A lot of mixed stuff, nothing specific lol.

Also into a lot of older music. Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, and so on.

ProudPapa is playing my kind of music when I listen to music in English but Pierre Lapointe and Cœur de Pirate are my favorite French artist. When I chill and contemplate my tanks I really enjoy Phillip Glass.

As long as it's not house music or related to that like e.g. trance and so on... I'm good with every kind of music... :)

A few months ago, a small-time country musician named Dylan Earl performed at a restaurant/bar my boyfriend and I were at. He had an classic country sound, kind of like Randy Travis. After the show, he actually had some vinyl and cassettes on sale, so we bought some. They came with a digital download too.

Anyway, today I'm listening to the cassettes for the first time. He's really good.

I just bought and received my brand new sound system. Old school 2 channel. CD player and a very good Bluetooth adapter. I hesitated on the turntable as I have no vinyl left after my first divorce in 1980. But I am still considering buying one and collecting some vinyl records.
I rediscovered my CD collection and played RUSH's Hemispheres and Moving Pictures. What sound.
Today I broke out the Beatles white album and will have it playing in short order. I have so much more to rediscover.
I have also been listening to Spotify. "Grunge Forever" I think is the channel. My girls grew up to grunge and I never paid attention. Today its one of my favorite genres.

My partner and i both a the same taste in music. We've a huge music collection from 50s 60s 70s 80s 90s. But I'm a huge fan of Paul Weller, and his music from former bands ,The Jam, an The Style Council. The only other band which pips him is the one and only...The Who. We've both been fortunate to see alot of great bands over the years including the who, the jam, simple minds, bon Jovi,Elton john, tears for fears,Richard Ashcroft, oasis and a fare few more.

I found this band like a week ago, and can't get enough, it's kind of out of my box, I do listen to a wide spectrum of music from metal to rap being a 70s baby and an 80s kid. but this just appeals to me.

Currently listening a song that was originally gonna be sung by Kristen Chenoweth in "Thoroughly Modern Millie," but she had to back out (And her understudy too, leading to the amazing Sutton Foster to take the role) so they pulled the song, it’s called The girl in 14b, it’s really funny, plays on her years in college for opera and years of practice in jazz:

I’ve been working my way through some of my favorite Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit albums for the past two days. Now today I’m listening to “Southeastern” which is is full length solo debut (although his wife provided backup vocals and fiddle). Cover Me Up is the first song on the album.

Saw them last year. Was working front stage when they opened for Alabama. Had to buy my wife a shirt because she likes the Marshall Tucker logo.

I love almost all music, but while I was sick I watched the Ed Sheeran documentary on Disney and today I listened to his new album. It brought a whole new dimension to listening when you know what the person was going through during the writing process. <3

That reminds me of a conversation I had some years ago with someone. I said I liked old country music, and he said "Do you mean like Hank Jr.?"

'No, I mean Hank Sr!"

I've been listening to the soundtrack of a New musical about a girl with a genetic disorder which makes her age really quickly, it's such a beautiful show. Probably my favorite song from it is Anagram, it's her talking with a special needs boy who likes her, who is making an anagram of her name:
