Cuban Limia
(Limia vittata)
Common names: Cuban limia, Banded limia, Cuban molly, Striped mudfish.
Size: Males 8cm, Females 10cm.
pH: 7.5 – 8.5
Tempº: 18ºC - 25ºC

Origin: Endemic to Cuba
Gender: Males have yellow stripes in-between their black stripes.
Notes: A rare, peaceful Livebearer from the waterways of Cuba. It is, hardy and prolific! In order to prevent breeding, the two sexes should be kept apart, but when you intend to breed them they should have a ratio of 1 male to 3 females in order to prevent fighting in the males and females being overly harassed.
