Strange Goings on in the tank.

DobbyAlly

I have 6 months ago got myself 8 new clown loaches. in my opinion they are stunning fish to add to any tank.
I stuck them in Quarantine for 3 weeks prior to adding them to my Terror tank with my Tiger barbs. (Beautiful fish but rather aggressive)

The Clown Loaches and Tiger barbs live very happily together and create a beautiful effect when the school together across the tank.

But and here is the catch and the stress which has me getting up all hours of the night to check and having a WifI camera set up so I can watch during the day.

The Clown Loaches lay on their sides. and not just one some times all of them sometimes a few and always in the same spot in the tank.

Freak me out !!! I have done some research and some very clever Aquatics guru said its because they are happy in their environment.

Does anyone have any idea why they do this or have their Clowns doing it ??

What substrate do you have? They prefer sand because theh love to dig and its easy on their body. Do you have a sand substrate?

They are fine on gravel as long as it is rounded.

They lie around on their sides when they are contented and relaxing.

Mine do it all the time.
