75 Gallon Tank I need a few ideas on my Ich situation

Long time no see Fishlorians, I currently am dealing with an ich outbreak in my 75 gallon. I've added salt, raised temperature, added some ich guard, and am going to do a water change soon. Noticed ich two days ago on my guppies, moved them all with ich to quarantine and such. I haven't noticed any ich on larger fish and such and no fish has gotten a bad case of ich yet. We're in the earlier starting stages of ich.

I've been wondering which medications you've used to treat ich and other things you'd suggest.

 

I just finished an Ich treatment in one tank. My first time dealing with it.
I'd have to say mine was early stages, also. Unless the white specs simply avoided most of the fish.

I used what the LFS recommended. Ich Attack.
It is advertised as all natural and definitely came under some scrutiny here, but the shop owner swore by it and they've been in business more than a little while.
My results were: In six days all spots were gone, so I treated for three more days and then a WC today.

So we'll see if it returns, but it seemed to work like I was told.

 

You dont want to move Ick fish to another tank. You should treat the whole tank. Ick usually will show up on weak fish first.

Dont use heat and Ick meds at the same time. Both deplete oxygen, so do one or the other. The Ick meds I have heard work best and dont hurt snails and inverts are Rid Ick and Ick X. Follow the directions exactly for best results.

 

You must treat the whole tank! I had ick in a 10 gallon treated with ick clear fizz tabs.All were saved except 1! JUNGLE BRAND/ Walmart

 

Yeah as others have said don’t move infected fish to another tank, no point. I’ve always had great results raising the temperature and vacuuming every other day for 12 days. I can’t say on meds as I’ve never used them for ich.
