My pregnant guppy has been recently attacked by my other female guppy I noticed yesterday that she was attacking her tail and that the half of it was missing but today her whole tail is missing and she cant swim properly and her tail is making her float to surface so I put it her a bowl distant from other fishes and I noticed this string and I don’t know what it is can someone please tell me what either is the string or what should I do with the fish? My friend suggested that I should just flush her in the toilet but I dont know about that.. Please help

I'm not sure about anything else, but please do not flush her down the toilet. It's cruel to the fish, and bad for your septic tank. If you don't have a septic tank it's bad for the treatment plant/pipes/etc.

Isn't that just poop? I would say to keep her separated for now and see if she recovers. Tails can grow back if not too far gone. Keep her in a quiet place, keep the water very clean. If she seems like she is really suffering you should euthanize her and dispose in the trash.

It might bee poo, or it might be an external parasite. Time will tell. Fish can regrow fins, I don't euthanize fish unless they are no longer able to eat, or if they have open wounds or something very obviously terminal. Please!!! don't flush any fish in the toilet, it is torture! fish can survive the plung all the way to the sewer and slowly die in a hellish mess of toxins.
Get clove oil from a pharmacy, put 1 drop per ounce in a water bottle and shake it very well. Add one once to the small container that the fish is in, and come back in 15 minutes, if the fish is belly up, add the rest of the bottle of clove oil, if the fish is still swimming, add another ounce, and come back in 15 minutes. After all the clove oil mix is used, and the fish looks dead, make sure that the fish is not just sleeping by adding an alkaseltzer tab, or vodka, or crush the fish.

It looks white to me. She could have worms or internal parasites. Yes, guppies can regrow fins but if the tail is totally cut off, regrowth is nearly impossible. And then the swimming will remain in vertical position. This makes it also hard for her to get some air at the water surface. I would euthanize her in this case.

That white bit looks to me like nothing more alarming that the mucous casing that fish secrete to help move their poop along - if they have not eaten for awhile they sometimes just pass the casing without any poop inside it.

It’s not necessarily due to internal parasites - the only thing it means for certain is that the fish hasn’t eaten for some length of time - but she’s a very sick fish and has far worse problems than the poop.

Unfortunately, I can see raised scales - pinecone scales - and her body is bloated.

That indicates dropsy and dropsy is a symptom of kidney failure, which cannot be reversed. I am sorry to say it but she’s not going to get better and I would humanely euthanize her very soon to save her a prolonged death.

The other guppy very likely attacked her because she is sick - fish do that kind of thing.
