I am a homeschooling mom of 3 (ages 16, 14 and 8) and small farmer. We have several fish tanks, blending livebearer fishes with small catfish/plecos, shrimp and snails. We have 1 koi that now lives in our horses' water trough to help maintain the tank and eat algae. I kept freshwater fish from the age of 10 years old, all through high school and college, then off and on since getting married.

Our fish and invertebrates are part of the children's 4-H projects in the static exhibit portion of the Companion Animal & Cats project area and Small Business project area.
