Jenny's Fish Shop Game
A new game from Big Fish Games, Jenny's Fish Shop lets you buy fish, set up their tank decorations, feed them and then when the fish get big enough you sell them for profit. If you've played any of the Diner Dash games you'll find that this game plays quite similar. For example, you get bonuses for chaining your activities. The object of each level is to reach your sales goal. When you do reach your goal you advance to the next level. The setting for this game is a tropical island paradise. Pretty cool.
In between levels you get a chance to upgrade your shop. You can buy more aquariums, a new computer for taking in more orders online, a machine to create tank decorations, a new aquarium for your pet (your pet fish provides in game tips), fish health upgrades, etc.
There are also mini games in Jenny's Fish Shop that give you a chance to earn more reward money. In the first mini game you have to protect the baby turtles as they make their way to the ocean. The whole time sea gulls are trying to dive at them and you have to click on the sea gulls to get them to leave the baby turtles alone while they are making their way on the beach. The more turtles that make it to the ocean the more money you get to use in the upgrade shop.
Is this game any good? It is quite fun to play. Sure, some of the things are not true to running a real fish store, but this game is more about fun than simulation.
