Zucchini for my Otos

I was afraid I didn't have enough green algae (they won't touch my BBA) so put this in with a plant weight and within about five minutes found them here.



My mystery snail gets in on the action too

Mine like butternut squash too but their favourite is zucchini, even the fry soon learned it was good to eat.

 

Do you blanch them first?

 

No, I just wash it & put it in the tank, it soon softens in the warm water.
