These are beautiful tanks. They make bathtubs like this, too.

Yes...they're weird....

but I'm so obsessed with how beautiful the zero edge design makes things look.

he he he. I did manage to sneak in a 200L tank, but he caught me and asked me to kindly remove it. BUSTED I was!

but I though love was when the other persons happiness mattered more than your own. doesn't he want you to be happy? :;a

I fully agree. Unfortunately, it works the other way round too. Apparently, he claims he wouldn't be happy having to walk through a maze of tanks to get a cup of tea. Bah...

Well, if he would be a man and build an addition to your home so that you could have a fish room, or help you turn the walls into fish tanks, then he wouldn't have to walk through a maze of tanks to get a cup of tea.
Wait a second, does he drink white, green, red, black, or herbal tea?

Ha! I am working on the whole fish tank on each wall idea!

No no no. You misheard (misread?) me. I said "turn the walls into fish tanks." In other words, tear down the walls, replace them with fish tanks.

This is an idea that I would love to implement when my wife and I build a house, but I doubt I'll actually get to do it.
Back on topic: while I think the idea of the Zero Edge is cool, I don't know that I'll ever get one. Almost all of my tank ideas involve creatures that are really good at escaping, especially when you get into saltwater tanks.

this is a thought I will have to (very politely) disagree with. I promise to post pics of the beautiful marine zero edge at my lfs. it IS very true that the tank is very limiting, but idea for a striking coral set up. It is really more of showpiece of art and creativity in your ability to arrang a tank. More interior decor than display of a particular species.

You disagree with the idea that I'm not going to get one? That's amazing, you know more about me than I do.
I get what you're saying, just messing with you.
I might, at some point, work with corals and mostly-immobile critters, but I just find something amazing in the ultra-odd animals, like snowflake moray eels and cephalopods, which, unfortunately, also tend to be escape artists even when you've got a top on your tank. As I will likely always have a limited amount of money available, if I can ever scrape together enough for a reef tank, it's going to involve one of these critters.
