zebra snails laying eggs

    my zebra snail is laying little white eggs everywhere but nothing ever happens

    Nerite eggs layed in a fw tank usually are not viable. I believe they need brackish water to reproduce.

    +1 on the above comment. They will still lay eggs everywhere though;)

    Agree - they will only hatch in brackish water.

    I have 4 Nerites and they seem to lay the eggs EVERYWHERE. They are harmless but very difficult to get off of ornaments and glass. Eventually I am told they will wear off but I have yet to see it happen.

    I've heard of people trying to put the eggs in brackish water to hatch but I'm not sure if it works.
