Ok, so I’m feeding my zebras a selection of the Ebo Aquaristik food alternating different ones every day then twice a week I will feed them a little medley of frozen, including lobster eggs and chopped mussel which they absolutely love. Every now and then I throw in some bug bites, new life spectrum wafers or gamma nutra pellets which they actually go crazy for too.
If you’ve not come across ebo aquaristik before they are a specialised omnivore/zebra pleco diet which comes from Germany and are quite expensive but the fish seem to love it and are very healthy all with a nice blue tint to them. The food they sell is prosoft seafood, prosoft mussel, prosoft insect meal, prosoft sponge, prosoft Artemia and shrimp sticks and mussel sticks.
Does anyone else use this food for their zebras? If so how do you find it?
I have also just purchased some HikarI sinking carnivore pellets just to see how they get on with them as I’ve seen quite a few good reviews from other zebra pleco owners. I’m hoping this is a good and varied diet for them all and they all seem extremely healthy and happy.
I would be grateful to hear of any other food alternatives out there that you have found has worked well with your zebra plecos and any good or bad experiences you’ve had and any feeding advice in general would be good too.
I’m pretty sure I’ve got all bases covered but it’s always handy to know more and listen to any advice given.

I have heard of this Ken fella stuff! Was considering using it if I was ever lucky enough to get any fry. Ebo aquaristik do a fry food that makes a film for them to eat??? Don’t know much about this yet tbh. I take it this Ken stuff is available in the U.K.? Thanks
