Hi, just got him or her yesterday, didn't really move much for the first few hours we had brought him home. Now he's moving all over the tank. I noticed he crawled up to the top of the tank out of the water a little bit. Is this ok, and normal? Would hate for the little bugger to kick it, he's pretty cool.:)

He's just exploring his surroundings, testing the boundaries so to speak. Mine did the same, but do not do so anymore. If they stay above the water line, that would be a different issue. Nerites are awesome! I have some thorned zebras and they are just as much fun to look at as my fish!

Ok, yeah about 3 hours of him being out on the water line, I picked him off the glass and set him on some zucchini. Now he's "zipping" all over the tank! I named him Turbo because he's always moving!

Glad to hear it! Maybe he was just feeling lost and confused. Or needed some alone time to contemplate life. You never know with snails.
