Zebra Danio Is Crzay Chasing Other Fish

Hi,

My zebra danio is keeping chasing other fish like crazy. I have 36 gallon tank and following fish:
1 male guppy
3 female guppies
1 zebra danio

1 ghost catfish
1 black molly
1 lyretail molly
1 red wag platy
1 long finned gold zebra danio (this one is added last week to be a companion of the first zebra danio)

Other than the ghost catfish, zebra danio is nipping everyone's tail. What can I do to calm him down? I saw posts saying get a few more zebra danios but I am concerned that all of them will have the same behavior.

Hi. Zebra danios are notorious fin nippers. With a bigger school, nippin should be confined between the school.

If I wanted zebras, I would get a 55 and get 20 of em.

 

I had one that was just plain aggressive, which they aren't normally. He went to Zebra heaven unfortunately after many time outs...

No they all won't behave like your renegade Danio, in fact they are better behaved in schools..
