Your Gaming Computer

What are the specs of your computer you use for gaming? My rig is a little old but still handles anything I throw at it. I usually wind up upgrading every 6 years or so which gives me 2 or 3 more on my current machine.

Here are my specs:
CPU---AMD FX-6300 6 core with a CoolerMaster Hyper T4 cooler
GPU---AMD Radeon RX 470 4gb
RAM---16gb DDR3-1333
HDD---1 TB Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM
PSU---LEPA 650 watt

Nothing is overclocked. Everything runs at stock speed.

My next rig will definitely have a Ryzen CPU. I'm just an AMD fan.

I recently upgraded my old laptop which ive had for a long time to a gaming desktop with 0 regrets lol. its not as good as others but is a great starter especially if you can't afford the fancy ones. it can handle every single game I throw at it which is all that I care about XD.

Intel Core i5-7400 3GHz 6-Core | Intel Z370 Express Chipset | 8GB DDR4 | 120GB SSD | 1TB HDD.....I think that is my specs I have no clue lol

Well, that's a nice Machine. It's more powerful than my desktop rig. Graphics are pretty equal but your processor and memory are faster plus having the SSD. It should last you a while.

Well an optical drive is easy and cheap to add if there is an available bay for it. I game wired and my rig does not have WiFI either. I prefer the wire for gaming. It goes about twice as fast in speed tests.

I bought my rig and 23" monitor on Newegg for just under $1000 complete. I have doubled the memory, added a Blu-ray drive to go with the DVD burner it came with, a second HDD for backups, the better cooler for the CPU, and upgraded the video card from an R9-270X to the RX470. The RX is a minimum of 40% faster. I got the cooler because I got tired of the noise the stock fan made while gaming. It would rev up to over 5000rpm so I had to use the Speedfan program to keep it below 4500 where the noise was more tolerable. The new cooler is silent, never goes over 1800rpm, and keeps the processor 10 degrees cooler under the gaming load. It only cost $15.

I know Apple makes very good products but I have a personal rule to never buy anything they make. Even my SmartPhone runs Windows 10.
It's because they're overpriced and too proprietary.. I never use anything wireless for serious gaming. I'm sure your rig does a great job with the games that support it.
