Don’t have any of these (yet ), but clown killi, black loach, and Stiphodon percnopterygionus (fw goby).
I really want to start a nano tank with clown killifish!! They're beautiful little fish

Right now, pea puffers! I'm learning more about them and thinking about setting up a tank and getting a few

I loved my sparkling gouramis. Very cool little guys.
Peacock gudgeons are also so beautiful to watch.

This may sound weird but my favorite would have to be bettas

Peacock gudgeon and bumblebee goby (Brachygobius xanthomelas).

The bumblebee was essentially a rescue and turned out to be an awesome addition. Very outgoing and interesting to watch. Inhabits all levels of the tank too. I’d say it’s personality is similar to the pea puffer.

I just wanna know what everyone’s favorite nano fish are. Mine are probably Scarlet Badis, Rosy Loaches, or any and all wild Betta species.

Edit: because people are asking, a nano fish (in my opinion) is any fish that is recommended for a nano tank (20gal or smaller.)

Nano fish?
I just read here yesterday or today there was no such thing as a nano fish... ;)

But I like slow moving fish. My neons and Betta have been perfect so far.
And the LFS has a saltwater setup that can't be any more than 2g with a mini reef in it. Some corals and a Clown Fish have been doing great for a while now.

But there is no such thing as a nano fish I've read....

I like pseudomugils. Not sure if they qualify as 'nano' fish. 10 gal is the often recommended minimum but IMO it's a bit small.

How small does a fish have to be to be a nano fish?

IDK I classify a nano fish as something you could put a school in a 10g. lol so really small.

Well, I really like my Neón tetras and pencil fish, but I don’t think I would put either in a 10 gallon…and I love the look of the toucan tetra though I have never seen them for real, and I don’t think they are much smaller than neons. Maybe ruby tetras, very pretty and very small…

They’re both great, albeit, tougher to find. Folks here go crazy for the fry.

I have a thing for female Betta. Underrated personalities, flirty and just as pretty as the males. I'd like to try a sorority one day.

The chili rasbora is my favorie followed by pygmy corydora. I like the look of Celestial Pearl Danios but my experience with keeping them has been less than ideal.

Wonder if panda corys apply?? They’re adorable
Those are normal fish.
For cories you'd be looking at dwarfs like Hastatus or six ray false cories. Hastatus are not bottom dwellers so for the cory proper look you you can consider the false cories as an option.
I haven't owned pygmaeus or habrosus so I can't tell you where they swim.
Those are the 4 dwarf cory/coryoid cats I can think of.

Scarlet Badis,
I like scarlet Badis and Black Tiger Badis but I do get tired of their live food requirement. Come on guys just eat a little flake. The irritating thing is that it is very hard to find females.

I love the classic Neon Tetra. :)

I don't have them myself, but my local aquatics store had some Panda Loaches which I absolutely fell in love with.

Honestly I just adore nano fish and for a long time I wanted to turn my 12 liter tank into a nano tank for the tiniest fish/shrimp, but I keep needing it for a flipping hospital tank. :/
