Your favorite music and/or what music are you'currently listening to?

I don't have favorites I just kind of listen to everything, so I could be listening to Green Day, Matisyahu, Two Steps From H..l, Warren Zevon (okay I lied, werewolves of london has got to be my favorite song, so naturally I hate all summer long), P!nk, Imagine Dragons, Theory of a Deadman, Heather Dale, lots of Disney (hey, childhood, you don't forget it), Mercedes Lackey, Phil Collins, Fleetwood Mac, Yiruma....like my youtube history is really jumbled... it goes from Story of the year to Gregorian monks to the national to the spice girls...

I grew up in the 80's/early 90's. So I still like hair bands to grunge style. My first concert was Testament and Iron Maiden. I do like some current catchy music, though, too. But I mostly listen to smooth jazz. I find it relaxes my mind and makes me feel less anxious.

Edit: Also like older Prince and Michael Jackson, that pop era, too!

 

I'm currently listening to the stranger things theme song, but I generally listen to 'emo' bands-Panic! At The Disco, Twenty One Pilots, Fly Away Hero, etc. Alternative rock and indie are also great-Nico Vega and Stephen are both brilliant artists.

 

Everything from Abba to ZZ Top from the 50's to now.

My favorite genres are all genres of extreme metal and hardcore rap, and then classic rock comes in. I can listen to it all day.

Love Avenged Sevenfold as well. Have a whole band signed vinyl of The Stage for preordering vinyl in the first week.

Amon Amarth is my favorite atm. Good BM band was My Dying Bride. Dimmu Borgir of course. And Nightwish usually. With Tarja that is. (not BM, more like goth metal or symphonic metal?)

Well, lets see here..... I think my music would kill most of our fish if it was played next to them lol, so let's not experiment! For me, it's metal. Newer metalcore style such as, Parkway Drive, The Amity Affliction, Bring Me the Horizon, Asking Alexandria, A Day to Remember, and so on. Then there's the Social Distortion side of me , and so much more. The genres can be be quite diverse, but metal remains my favorite! Rock on fellow fish keepers! ♩

I've been listening to Amon Amarth all day.

 

I'm a 90s chick but absolutely love .... Stevie Ray Vaughn,the black crows,Ozzy,acdc,Metallica,ccr, journey,and some others I can't think of to save my life .... I'm a rocker can't stand country unless it's the old stuff like Hank Williams and such .....

 

See no one's repping the doom/ssludge/stoner metal community, so I'm here! Melvins, Sleep, Pallbearer, Monolord, High on Fire, Electric Wizard... And who can forget the band that launched it all, Black Sabbath? Also love old school metalcore like Trivium and The Devil Wears Prada. I have an addiction to Henry Rollins era Black Flag and my guilty pleasure is a post-hardcore band that I've met a few times, Silverstein. I play guitar as well, mainly focusing on what I listen to.

 

I have the Lithium channel on nonstop on SiriusXM. I relive my glory days with some 90s alternative and grunge.
