I thought I still had all my old decor. I had some awesome slate and such and now I can't find any of it. I must have given it away. I checked out the LFS's today and weren't overly impressed with what they had. So where do ya'll do your online shopping? Especially for slate/stone and fake plants (not ready to update lighting and tackle live plants. Maybe later when I get bored and feel the tank needs some sprucing up.).

This is my first time buying online but I just used eBay... they seemed to have had the cheapest price per piece that I was looking for... (I bought 10 assassin snails for 29.95 and free shipping)

I've never bought fish online before. I hate to have the mail man leave the fish at my door step in the middle of a day and I don't return until later at night and the fish has been outside for like 4+ hours.

I don't think the question was about shipping fish. I've had my packages held at the post office when receiving fish shipments, it works well.

Good morning,

I use the sites in the link below for supplies:

LiveAquariafor plants

Note: Fish Lore has a Buy/Sell/Trade/Free (B/S/T/F) section for members to use once they have reached 50 posts to the open forum. Please do not post simply to boost your post count, this would be frowned upon.

I've gotten fish and plants, snails, from other members using the B/S/T/F section on several occasions.

There aren't really many online stores that I use I usually just go to my LFS' they are very good but I have used 123 aquatics when I got my NLS food and they were very efficient and of course I have used amazon if that counts many many times

I have used https://www.petsandponds.com for most of my supplies it is a Canadian company but I do think that they ship to the US too. Shipping is very reasonable.

Just the thread I was looking for! My mutant goldfish has grown so much, and so fast, I had to stick my hand in the tank last night to push him out of the fake Grecian urn by the face. Needless to say, the urn is no longer in the tank and it's looking pretty empty. I'm going to check out all of the listed cites.

Question: Would you go with drift wood or rock? I'm going to avoid anything with a hole that will temp my giant fish to try to swim through it, and would like to add more live plants. The GF ravage the plants, so all I have now are floating plants, but want to try to get a java fern to attach to something and grow.
