So any ideas on what I could get?
I thought of barbs but they are fin nippers.
Also I'm going to get some more corys to make a bigger school, another 6 or so

Before you add more fish just keep in mind that the angels have some more growing to do and that they will be territorial soon when they start pairing off.

Stand pat, and add nothing. There is growing to be done, and I think you'll find that tank is crowded.

Hello!

I don't suggest getting anything else. Your current stocking may overgrow your tank space, and your neon tetras may get eaten by the angelfish, aswell as angelfish will grow to be territorial. And you might need a better filter.

But you do what you want Its just a suggestion.

Not only is this tank overstocked there's temperature incompatibly as well and the corydoras need 6 to have a complete school

I would get nothing, one reason is that once the angels pair off and breed you will have more than you want and you are already overstocked. Also you have fish that need totally different temps

Rehome your rams. You need to crank up your tank to 80 at least for them. Although the other fishes are able to handle those kinds of temps they can only handle that for a short time and it'll stress them out eventually.

You will most likely have 2 or 3 pairs of angels once they mature more and 3 pairs isn't doable for that size tank. The most is 2 given more decor to break lines of sight and I would say that's already pushing it. I had a trio of angels before (2m 1f) who were paired. Yes, they are paired. Both males fertilized the eggs and all of them took care of the eggs. But my point is that I kept these fish in a 6'x2'x1' tank and once they spawned they basically took half of the tank. I have lots of live plants and driftwood to break lines of sight so they just occasionally chased the fish out of their 3 foot territory. I wasn't able to see the fry free swimming but I can just imagine if the fry did swim they would've taken over the whole tank.

Guys, please stop saying "Rehome this! Do that! You're too overstocked!" Your probably putting pressure on the guy. Take it down a notch.

So let him overstock the tank and cause issues? I think we're giving the OP good advice. This is that these forums and posts are for. I get that let them learn on their own mentality that you have but if we can avoid something why not? Nobody called him any names nor talked down on him for having too many fish. All that was said was that he has an overstocked tank, he should not get more fish and that the temperature requirement of some fish (EBR) aren't compatible with the general population of the tank.

I was the same way before and learned through posting on forums and being given constructive criticism by members that are more knowledgeable on this topic. Not trying to argue here but your comment just didn't make sense to me.

Right well giving him so much "advice" at a time will stress him out. What if he can't re home the fish? What if he can't remove the fish? What if this is his first post, and people are automatically hassling him to rehome or do some big change. I get it his tank is way overstock, just say that. I know how it feels to get hassled about overstocking issues. One person says it, then next thing you know there is about 10 people hassling you to get rid of the fish or get a new tank. All that is needed is one person. I'm sorry if I sound rude.

He can't rehome the fish? I'm pretty sure he has an Lfs that he can take it to. This is his first post? That's perfect because he's already learning so much. Nobody is asking him to rehome everything. It's the rams that require warmer temps that the other fish won't be able to handle in the long term.

Also if you read my post I specifically stated that when the angels mature and pair up will he experience the territorial nature of these fishes. They are cichlids after all. I also stated that the other fish will be stressed out about having high temps due to the EBR. It's up to the OP if he wants to crank the heat up between 80-85 and stress the other fish or keep it at a stable 74-78 to cater to most inhabitants of the tank but stress the EBR out. That's why I suggested to rehome the EBR since that's only two fish to rehome. They're EBR's and they will find a home quick. Heck, I'll pay the OP and I'll take them myself if I need to.

Btw you said all he needs is that one person right? You're the third person to reply to him. Why are you adding fuel to the fire then? I believe my reply about the angels being territorial and the second guy telling him not to buy anything is sufficient enough. I'm sorry if I sound rude but you're contradicting yourself. These are all valid advice that the OP is receiving and he should be appreciative. All the people that have him advice here could've chosen to ignore him and let him make mistakes which could cost the OP and could waste a perfectly good fish. It's a piece of advice. OP can take it or leave it.

Please do not derail this thread by squabbling between yourselves.

Keep the focus on the OP please.
Thank you.

Lucy all my replies have been related to the OP. I make sure that even if I'm responding to someone else's comment my comment still has something helpful for the OP. Thanks.
