This morning my overly pregnant guppy dropped her fry.
I missed most of the action and I'm not sure how many been eaten .
At the moment I counted 16 babies.
My question is :
How long before I can introduce them to rest of the fish in my community tank?

Congratulations,

That depends on what fish you have in your tank. If it's only guppies then it should be a matter of weeks, if you have other larger fish, then it will be longer. A good rule of thumb is that fish can and will eat anything that will fit into their mouth (guppies, especially the females, have surprisingly large mouths) so until then you'll need to keep them separate.

Thank you wildside.
I have guppies, Cory's, neons and one gourami.
I guess I will wait until they outgrow gouramis mouth then

I have my guppies in a 20 gallon ... after a few hours the mothers seem to leave them alone. I have about 17 swimming rices at the moment too! Lol I moved some that were 3 weeks old into my community with no problems. I don't have any huge fish though.

It really depends on the fish and if there's any cover or not. I had guppy fry with a betta who frankly couldn't have cared less about them and ignored them. On the other hand, my rainbow cichlids actively hunt any fry I have right now.
