yes, well I need help on this!

okay, so my guppies gave birth, 3 days ago, and I have four fabulous little guppies, I had to separate the adults from the fry and the adults are getting stressed out because my only extra tank is super small

How long before the fry is one inch long so tht this misery will end?

 

They will take a few months like 3-4 before they are an inch try trasfering the babies into the super small tank not the adults. use a cup or sumtin if your net is too big

 

they don't need to be one inch they just need to double in size from there original size I bleive... if u wait until they are 1 inch you will wait a very long time they won't get eaten at .5 inch or even 1/3 inch

 

as long as they are big enough not to fit in the mouth of any fish in their tank they will be fine.

 

yeah I have read that the general rule is when they double in size they won't get eaten but maybe a lil bigger than that would be nice... 1 inch is definitely not necessary

my baby Guppies r doing very well now too!

 

I just transferred my baby swordtails at 5 weeks. They're about 3/8" long. The adults have no bother with them. As long as they have some size to them and places to hide they should be fine.

 

I just left my guppy fry in the same tank, I have about 6 left but they are still tiny BUT the adults aren't bothering them now so they just swim about freely. That makes me feel better that they swim about freely with my 6 adult guppys (2 that have some size on them).

 

I have 15 fry (mollies) that are about half a centimeter big and they swim around the other fish and they;'re all still alive
