Yellowjacket Cichlid Fry!

Lebeeze

I have a pair of yellowjacket cichlids approx 4", I just discovered they have spawned maybe 50 or 60 fry.

I'm just curious the best way to go about things in terms of water changes and feeding. I usually do a 75% change once a week on this tank because Yellowjackets like really clean water, I'm just wondering if I should do less with the fry in the tank because maybe they can't handle that much of a change in water at once.

Also do I just keep feeding what I normally do or do I need to feed the fry something in particular?

Be a good idea to continue with your very good water maintenance routine.
Grind up a few pieces of quality flake food into tiny particles for the fry.
Btw, very nice looking Yellow Jackets.

Thank you!! The female is absolutely crazy right now, evertime I go within 5 or 10 feet of the tank she comes darting out of the cave and trying to attack me lol. She's also attacking her reflection in the side of the tank. I think I'm going to just leave this tank alone aside from water changes and feeding.
