Yellow strain guppy

FBI

Just had a yellow male guppy died. I don't know if anyone had this experience but so far the death in my community tank are all yellow male guppy.

4 death and 4 are yellow male( bought from 2 lfs ). Currently i had one common orange male guppy becoming more and more inactive. This make me think if male guppy is more sensitive than female since i have no problem with any female guppy since i got them. Or guppy with yellow strain is more needy than other guppies? I know guppy are known to be hardy and perfect for beginner but it's still make me wonder if guppy dying is common. The tank was established 3 week. I'm a beginner and still learning from this site as well as from Google.

The aquarium parameter is 0-0-5

Interesting theory. I don't know if certain colors are more susceptible or not. I do certainly believe there are things in genetic lines that make a fish more susceptible to different things though.

I personally don't believe that yellow guppies as a species are weaker. I have had a yellow guppy for a while now, he was my only guppy to live through a disease in my tank. He is the oldest in my tank. If he does die soon, it will probably be old age. Maybe his strain from the store was weak, or he just got old. I don't exactly know, but that's my guess.
