Yellow Spheres — What Is This? Help

I have no fish in this tank, only mystery snails and nerites. I looked and see that mystery snails lay egg pods, these are definitely not pods.

    I’m confused as to what it could be.

    5 Gal
    Temp: 80F
    Cycled tank

    What plants belong to those roots? I'd check into a plant explanation.

    There just fertiliser ball thingys the roots have attached to.

    Should I pull them out of the tank?
    Wouldn’t the exposed fertilizer be bad for the water and snails?
