Another Nano Walstad tank!
I tried a 10 gallon, but it failed (I lack patience), so I am trying it with a 2.5.
I am using a Tetra 2.5 gallon tank, $2 more than the Aqueon at PetCo, but alas they had none today!
These are some of the plants that I bought for the tank. Two tubes of Bolbitis heteroclita, which I know doesn't get planted in the substrate but still. lol. Amazon Compacta, which I've used a few times just planted in dirted ceramic pots and it always does amazing. Only one looked good though. Then some ware sprite. I have some crypts that will be put in as well.

Next is the substrate.
Not sure of the brand, but it's called 'Pink Flamingo.' It looks like Eco Complete, but way cheaper!
I had some dirt that was ready to go, wet then dried etc. I put the substrate in front of the tank to make a boarder and put some dirt in the back. I definitely didn't do a lot, but it's a small tank so I thought an inch of dirt and than an inch cap would be too much.

Here it is all filled in with the dirt and the substrate.

Next step, background and planting!
My plan is to find a Dalmatian veil tail betta for this. I have seen a few in the past, so I will keep my eyes open! Seeing as this dirt came from an established tank, I am hoping that it will not leach any ammonia.
