Would you hate it if I cleaned up the 'what do you look like' thread?

HI guys

Would it be horrid if I removed the non-picture posts from the picture gallery? Would be fun to be able to browse and see what everyone looks like without trolling through hundreds of side-chats.

Like for the fish galleries, of course the side-chats would be welcomed, but they'd be taken away once in awhile.

What do you all reckon? Have I crossed the line from being amusingly excentric to a downright freaky tidy person now?

Seriously, though. If there are too many objections, then I wont' do it. I just want to test the water

I agree that it would clean up the thread greatly because it seems to have become too cluttered, but ... ... on the other hand ... say someone looks at someone else's post that is both a thread with some person's picture and with a reply of that person to some other comment made in the thread. If all the non-picture posts are deleted, then the post with the picture + reply comment will look a little weird because it will look as if the person were replying to some non-existent comment, lol ;D. I don't know if I am making myself clear. if not, please let me know and I'll try to explain again what I have in mind.

Besides, I think there are many non-picture comments in this thread that add humor and even more interest to the thread. (But, that's just my personal opinion, of course .) With the non-picture comments + people's pictures, it feels like actually talking to people in real life while reading this thread (now seeing the faces of the people you talk to). But then again ... I do understand that the thread has become too long, so you should do whetever you decide would be best for the thread, for the members, and for the forum in general .

Maybe we should make a poll for the members who participated in this thread to ask what they think? I think this should be done with all of their permission.

I understand what Isabella is saying. I too have enjoyed this thread what with the pictures and comments seems we can get a feel for a persons personality. Just my thoughts.

We have a couple of similar threads over on the motorcycle board I moderate, and one of my assigned duties is to clean out the off topic posts from both the picture threads of people and bikes. It needs to be done or it becomes a tremendous resource hog on the database. Well, once you clear one hundred pages of big pictures...

Oh, but we would keep the recent blurb. I'd only delete stuff that' more than a week or two old.

Well I like deleting , but I don't like moving and re-naming so much, especially over 80 posts. That's really time-consuming.
