Would Optibright Lights Fit On An Aqueon Hood?

My twenty gallon is right across from my bed and is the last thing I see before I go to sleep. Because of that OptiBright lights, with the remote control and everything, sounds awesome. However, I also have an Aqueon hood. I’ve made custom modifications to it so I don’t want to get rid of it, and though I really want the OptiBright lights I don’t wanna buy something that won’t fit my hood.

Has anyone used OptiBright lights with an Aqueon hood? If they don’t fit, is there any alternative that would?

I have the optibright lights but it sits on a glass Aqueon lid/hood on my Aqueon tank. Is yours a glass lid or the standard plastic ones that comes with the tank? If so, I am not sure how that would be modified.

Sorry, I just saw the hood - I don't think it will work because the top is not clear.

You would need a lid like this:

because the lights sit on top of it
