I was wondering if a pair of double full reds would work with swords, guppies, and cories?

I am considering the idea but I don't want my guppies to become lunch. I have no fear for the swords as they would prolly be bigger than the cichlids. The cories as well are a good size so I doubt they would become food.

My other idea is a yellow and blue ram. I could always keep the guppies in their 10 gallon tank though as I really want a pair of double full reds.

I would say all of the fish would be fine and none would be eaten for sure, i have a breeding pair of cockatoos and they were with guppies at one point, i wouldj ust watch out for the aggression of the cockatoos if they do spawn for you.
