I was planing on having only the one crayfish in this tank. Maybe getting one fish but nothing crazy. Would a 10 gallon tank work?

The OP said it was a blue crayfish :)

Personally, I recommend 20 longs for those crayfish, they get bigger than most aquarium keepable species.

Even if it would be in there alone? How long would it take for it to be fully grown?

Any recommendations on crayfish that I would be able to house in a 10 gallon?

Dwarf Orange or Blue crayfish would likely work.

I had mexican dwarf crayfish in my ten. Lots of fun. You could have 3 in a heavily planted and decorated ten gallon.

No regular blue crayfish in a 10 gallon. Dwarfs can be in the 10 gallon.
