Worried my angel is getting bullied

I have 3 fish that's in a 29 gallon tank. I only had them for 3 days now.Yellow cichlid, black angelfish, & a peacock cichlid. I call myself rescuing the yellow lab, & peacock cichlid from different pet store. The yellow lab was the first to reside in the tank. He chases both of them, but he's getting the best of the angel. The peacock runs, but holds his own at the same time. He stays out in the open, while the angel hides all day. The angel misses out on the feedings. He looks like his will to fight is over. I'm feeling like giving the yellow lab a new home with 4 dwarf gourami, just so my other 2 fish can swim & eat in peace.

 

You have aggressive African cichlids from Lake Malawi, with a semI aggressive South American cichlid. These do not mix as you are finding out. You need to make the decision to keep the angel or the yellow lab and peacock. With a 29 gallon, I would lean toward keeping the angel, and adding community fish around that. You could have some of the larger tetra with it, or some of the small to medium barbs. You could also have some bottom dwellers to round out your tank. If you go with the Africans, you can really only keep other cichlids from lake MalawI with them.

 

Thanks marie! I decided to take the yellow lab out & put him in the tank with my blue & gold gourami. I have grown attached to my angel, but I'm not sure if he's going to make it. His fins are all chewed up & raggedy. I feel so bad! Not sure how to help him
