Wow
Without knowing what I was doing, I apparently got my tank cycled fine!!! My angels are looking great, the water is crystal clear and I just tested everything. This is what I got:
Ammonia: 0 ppm
Nitrites: 0 ppm
Nitrates: 0-20 ppm
pH: 7.0
Alk: 120 ppm
Hardness: 80 ppm

OMG!!! I was so scared. I didn't know about cycling a tank. The one's I had in Pennsylvania years ago were filled from well-water, so it wasn't really an issue.
This one was giving me nightmares. The first angels I put into it died within hours, then the water turned all murky, and I was freaking out! Then 3 days ago the water cleared up literally over night and I bought some new angels, but still I didn't know about cycling until someone here asked me yesterday if it was cycled. So I started reading all the posts on here about cycling, tested the water this morning, and now I'm happy as a freshwater clam!!! lol
