Feeling happy today as my tank seems to be cycling nicely.

Ammonia has dropped from 3ppm to 0.25ppm in 24 hours for the last 2 days.

Nitrites holding steady at 2ppm but nitrates have gone up to between 40 and 80ppm.

Still got a little way to go but it seems to be moving in the right direction.

Don't let the first bacteria starve, remember to keep the food source up.

Good for you. Getting closer. My nitrites arrive early and stay late, but they will magically vanish someday soon. A couple massive WCs after that and you'll be set.

Exciting, isn't it?? I'm not quite as far along as you are, but I'm starting to see some good results so far & I'm so happy with it!!! Best of luck to you, I hope the cycle continues fantastically for you & that you are able to get your fish soon!!
