Wood From Outside Useful?

    As long as you boil it and leave the tangens to soak out for a few days then it should be fine.

    There are some trees that will take years of soaking because of the sap in them.

    Looks like some type of maple, which should be safe.

    Yes, what @FishFish221 and @Merryn O'Shea said! Looks like a Maple and you should boil it! And if you have fish with longish fins I would make sure to break off any sharp parts of the branch/stick so your fish don't tear their fins or injure themselves by accident! :)
