WOO! Bettas that are actually in tanks at my petstore!

On my most recent visit to the pet store I walked over to the betta cups to look at them, the usual. But when I walk over to the other fish what do I find....? Bettas in actual tanks with other fish! I know its only the fancier bettas but STILL I CAN NOT EXCLAIM MY HAPPINESS THROUGH TEXT betta 2 betta

 

There are a few tanks with bettas at my Petsmart, but nice!

This was actually a selling point for me when I picked out my Betta. I had gone to 3 LFS (during the painful days of waiting for my fishless tank to cycle) and the last place I went had long tanks with dividers in them to display their bettas. When my tank was finally ready, I went back to them to buy my fish. I figured the chances of it being more healthy were increased as well, being that it had been living in heated and filtered water.

I don't understand why more places don't do this. The long tanks with dividers looks better and keeps the fish healthier and is most likely easier to do water changes. Besides being cruel, 100 little cups everywhere just looks messy and unorganized and it's probably the reason the water doesn't get changed in them as often as it should.
