Will this kill me?

Just got my first coral and as I was holding the rock this popped out (that I touched/it touched me)
I'm not sure if its a sea slug, or a hare or maybe a snail without a shell. What is it? Do I want it in my tank? And will it kill me? (I know sounds dramatic but I'm saltwater noob and know some things can be nasty
.

Secondly, is there anything visually wrong with the mushrooms? I don't have coral dip and don't know what to look for, does it look alright? One of the mushrooms mouths has tiny little tentacles that I wasn't sure is it might be a pest.
I know the one mushroom closed up but it did just go into the tank and I think there might be a little bit more flow passing that one.

Can you get a better picture of the critter? I'm curious now!

I found out that he is a stomatella snail, a welcomed hitchhiker that eats micro algae so he is now in the tank.

So did you touch it? Does it indeed have a shell? Inquiring minds want to know!

I touched it when I didn't know it was alive, I thought it was a bit of bubble algae or something. When I touched it it took of to one of my fingers holding the rock and that's when I got him in the bucket to photograph.

It's shell is like the size of a fingernail and very flat, not much protection like a regular shell, I also read if threatened, they can drop their tail like a lizard to escape. The ocean is a weird place lol.

I think a bristle worm came along on the rock too, I should probably think about getting a dip in the future.

I LOVE stomatella snails, some of my favorite snails. Such a cool addition to a reef, like you already know....perfectly safe and welcomed! I've actually stocked my tank with them before. Need some more.

The mushroom looks ok for being brand new to the tank, give it some time and see if it flattens out. The little tentacle things in the mouth are part of the mushroom, you'd see them if you cut it in half. If stressed they will sometimes show through the mouth. I'd wait and see. The other one looks better so it could just be an adjustment thing. I don't know of much that will really munch on mushrooms, generally critters take to your more expensive stuff....go figure.

Well my pencil urchin in in a breeder box right now, he was on the mushrooms and had them sticking their tentacles out at him, I might release him and if he goes back too them then he will be back in jail. I listed him for sale but if I get no offers he'll be going to Petco.
