Will they shoal 2gether

Hello I brought 3 marble Hatchetfish as that's all they had, they look Rather shy tucked away in the corner I went back to the shop to see if they had anymore but they didn't, so I brought 3 silver Hatchetfish but they have not teamed up with each other yet... I was told when I brought them that they would ... does any one know if they will .........

 

They should since they are schooling fish. When did you get them compared to posting this? If it was shortly after, they could just be exploring their new home.

From what I have heard - the two species will school. I have 8 Common hatchets - and they don't school very tightly.
