I have a 4 ft L, 1.5 D, 1.5 H tank and have 2 siver arowanas (16 inch and 21 inch), 1 red belly pacu (13 inch), 2 albino catfish(9inch each) and 1 pleco catfish(8inch)...they have been living peacefully however just wanted to check if there could be a problem later. my aros eat chicken and my pacu eats everything......I don't want to get rid of either of them :-(...I live in Mumbai, India...please advice

I'm not good with calculations, do you know how many gallons your tank is?

I am not too familiar with the aro's and pacu, (no research or experience with them), but the future problem with you're tank that I am seeing is that you already have 76 inches of fish in your tank right now, and if you have a common pleco catfish (which I am assuming), they will get HUGE! almost two feet long, so that will pretty much be overloading your tank. Again, I have no experience with your other fish, so you may want to wait for a second opinion, regarding their temperament and aggressiveness toward each other, but I would definitely watch and see how much you're existing fish grow and definitely keep an eye on the growth of the pleco - I'm not sure he would be happy in that tank once he gets larger. Hope this helps a little :-\

ok you are in serious trouble I am not real sure on the compatiblity of the fish you have but I think the arowanas will eat whatever will fit in you tank once they get big enough but here is a rundown on your fish

pleco- anywhere from 12"-36" usually maxes out I think in the 20" especially with room to grow
pacu-around 12" it will max out it is a cousin of the pirahana but will eat veggies also I think
arowanas-I know will get well over a foot I wil try to do some research on them I am not sure how they turn around in your tank you need to upgrade your tank NOW or get rid of them
and the catfish I don't know

actually silver arrowanas grow up to 3 feet.
Red belly pacus can grow up to 2 feet and like huge 200+ gallon tanks
Plecos cap at about 1 1/2 feet.

your tank might be a lil stuffy considering that contrary to what has already been said your tank is not 105 gallons but 85 gallons

I reccomend giving away your pacus

76 inches (so far without the additional growth taken into account) of fish in an 85 gallon tank, I would suggest you find a new home for your common pleco as well. He won't have much room to do anything when he gets larger. 8 inches is merely "baby sized" for this fish... :-\

Thank you for the tips.....It is sad however I would have to look for a new home for my Pacu and the Pleco :-(....currently they all seem to be doing just fine together but don't want to take chances.....all of them love to eat shredded chicken, could it be turning them aggressive because of the same, if yes, how can I get my aros to eat processed foods, pellets etc.....my Pacu eats everything including live fish.....managed eating bit by bit my 3 Albino oscars (8" each) before the Aros arrived..............let me know if anybody has any effective food change tips...tks
