My male black molly got ich again, and the only medicine I have on hand is prazipro. Will this work for killing it?

I also have this medication called Microbe-lift herbtana, but it killed my cories last time I used it.. Or I was dosing it for 50 gallons even though the tank is 40? I don't know but, I don't really trust it.

I think I just over dosed that medicine last time, because everything I can find on it says that it's ok for use with cories.. I was dosing for a 50 gallon, but I later learned that the tank is only 40 gallons. I think I'm going to try it again. The ich popped up suddenly and hard he's almost completely covered again.

Yep.... found out where I went wrong.. I read the instructions wrong, it says 5 ml per 25 gallons of water.... I was putting 25 ml per 25 gallons.......

Meds take some looking into, for fish as with humans. Ich is not a worm, so prazi will have no effect.

The herbal anti-Ich med gives no ingredients, so I would never use it. I don't every trust secret ingredients when there are tried, true and transparently presented products out there. A mild overdose should do no harm, but there is no telling that the active ingredients in "herbal' are.

Hmm, must be one of those heat resistant strains. Kordon makes an ich med, though I'm not sure how good it is. Scaleless fish like cories won't do well with many meds, so I'd be sure to do a lot of research before using any meds.
