Should I buy fertiliser?

I was at Petbarn (Australian pet store) buying Anubias. Anyway, I really liked these plants and just bought them without researching.
So, now I have 2 baby tears and a Dragons Flame in my low-tech betta tank. I have no CO2 and a simple LED submersible light. Will these plants be fine? I'm not looking for them to grow, just stay alive and pretty. Should I purchase some aquarium fertiliser?
Thanks!

They are hardy plants. They should be fine in any condition. They are slow growing plants.

As for ferts...up to you. It won’t hurt either way.

If its the dragons flame I'm thinking of, they aren't aquatic and will soon die after a while. As for all the others, they will do fine but should highly reccomend still doing some research online to see growth habitats, care and whatnot!

That's great! Thanks so much.
I may fertilise anyway, just in case.

Absolutely. However, the Dragons Flame was in an aquatic tank. All the plants came from aquariums, not plastic boxes. Seeing as how it was grown aquatically, wouldn't it be alright?

Often plants are placed submerged in the planted tank section and appear to be aquatic plants... but are not. Some examples:
- aluminium plant (is a bog/pot plant)
- mondo grass
- Chinese evergreen
- lucky bamboo

All plants above may be placed in the aquatic section but don't last long... its rather common for pet stores to do this- espeically your run of the mill pet store - so when buying plants, research prior or keep in mind that they are likely to be non aquatic if they have the following:
- plants with red underside and green tops
- sturdy (when they are out of the aquarium, can support themselves or have thick stems)
- waxy leaves

Ok then. I'll keep it in as long as I can and I'll get an aquatic plant when it passes.

Do you have baby tears or dwarf baby tears? A scientific name would help!

Just baby tears. It's tall, not a carpet plant. Sorry, I don't know the scientific name.

Ah okay, just checking Regular baby tears are easier, with some fertilizer it would probably do pretty well.
