I was looking for my two guppies and I could not find one. And suddenly I look up and he is at the top of the tank with a chunk out of is tail. It looks like he got stuck. I feel so bad will he live

If the chunk is really only in the fin, then yes, the guppy should be able to survive, if the chunk is out of the tail base, where the fin and body connect, your guppy may have serious issues
