Will My Fish Be Ok If I Am Gone For A Week?

I am going to vacation for a week and I am hoping it is ok to leave my fish at home without care for a week. I plan to do a water change right before I leave and also feed them a lot before I leave. Will they be ok for a week without food?

 

Don't feed them a lot. Just feed the normal amount and do a water change before you leave.

Previously healthy fish can live for more than a week without food. I wouldn't recommend feeding a lot before leaving as that could cause more problems while you are on your vacation.

I would do a water change and not feed them the day before you leave. As for your plants unless your on a strict fert schedule I would just leave it be they should ne fine
