Will Marimo Moss Ball get bigger than golf ball size?

Petsmart has golfball sized Marimo moss balls, will these get bigger or stay that size?

 

They get bigger but it takes a long, long, long time.

 

I've had mine for a while, if they've gotten bigger, it's not noticeable.

 

Like with any plants it depends on many factors but they are generally slow growing.

 

Yes very slow growing. The strands of moss get long sometimes but the ball size seems to stay the same. I have had some of mine for 2 years still about the same size ball as when I got them

 

Yeah I think it takes like a year for them to grow 2cm in diameter. I'm ordering a bunch soon from overseas and they are much cheaper that way.

 

I have heard about the same, while yes they grow, good luck seeing it.
