Will Half The Dose Of Stress Coat Work?

Kind of messed up.

Drained 150l of water from my 300 litre aquarium. Gone to add 30ml of stress coat when the dog jumped up and knocked the bottle over.

Only managed to save 15ml

I have no other decolorisation in the house.

Technically I need 30ml or so to treat the entire tank as filling directly from the tap.

Added the remaining 15ml and replaced about 75 litres of water.

What should I do? You guys think the 15ml will do the 300l tank? I did only remove 150 litres or a bit less but filling straight from tap.

Can not even put the filter on without filling the tank to the top either because of the **** over tank filtration.

 

If 15ml is enough to treat 150l, it should be fine. Your chlorine level may be lower than the amount of chlorine that a dose of Stress Coat can treat. So really you have to risk filling the tank and just using the 15ml, but I think it's not too large of a risk.

Will it matter that I added the 15ml about 20 minutes ago? I assume it doesn't dissolve that quick?

She seen someone passing the house outside in the street and gone nuts knocking the bottle over.

Just found an old bottle of tap safe but only about 3ml in it which is enough to treat 60l.

Should I add that? Is it even safe to mix dechlorinator and stress coat at the same time?

 

I would think that the 20 minutes wouldn't make a difference. I do not think mixing brands of dechlorinator will cause any harm.
