I have a 75 peaceful community.
Warm temps 82f ive been looking at gouramis lately.

But I maintain two hob filters and unsure if the flow would stress them out ? With the Inability to make bubble nest ?

Thanks

Do you have surface plants if so no they won't stress out you could put fake floating plants up and if you get females they won't even need to make a bubble nest

I would have thought both of those types of gouramis would be fine.

Any suggestions ? I was looking mostly at the honey as they are smaller.

I personally would go for the Pearls in a 75 they are the most beautiful gouramis IMO and with that size tank they would be really happy.

Soooo
I purchased a sunset honey gourami.
Now the little one I got chases his/her reflection so I am going to get another.

They also had pearl gourami's are they compatable ? Aqua advisor tells me they will fight ?
Also are pearls okay solo or do I need a friend for them as well ?

Thanks

I would also recommend getting more honey gouramis. The 6 that I have in my 75 gallon tank are pretty social and fun to watch. I'm not sure how Pearl and Honey Gouramis get along, though. I would think that the Pearls would bully the Honeys.

I was one the impression males fight ?
There were only male sunset honey gouramies

Again I was unsure that males get along.
Three male gouramies get along ?

I won't get a pearl gourami as the concensus seems to be uncertain about the outcome.

I have 3 males, but there are also 3 females, so I'm not sure. I think that males might get along, but they will most likely bicker. The fact that your tank is so big means that they will have plenty of places to get away if one gets aggressive towards the others. However, they'll probably do better with girls. Do you think that you're fish store might be willing to order females for you?

I'm not sure about females... I understand they are hard to find.

My boys mostly seem to ignore each other. I haven't had any issues, the occasional chasing is the only aggression I see.

Thanks... He's still a loner at this point.

I'm apprehensive about making a change and regretting it later with fish.
